Submit a complaint to the data protection supervisory authority
Introduction
The church is currently violating applicable laws with its practice. Therefore, as the data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. Because even with their withdrawal and official GDPR deletion request, the church continues to store their data in their database in the USA.
Filing an official complaint is even easier and less complicated than leaving the EU itself.
Since the church has its official seat in Frankfurt, the Hessian data protection authority is responsible for the complaints.
